About Phil Currie
Phil Currie has been in the auction business for over 30 years. He started his career with a benefit auction for his church. After that auction he was given the opportunity to go to the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA with his friend Larry Cox. He earned his Auctioneering Degree in 1986.
After college he started Currie Cox Autions. During this time he was able to work with Carly Schuberg an auctioneer with over 50 years experience. He next worked with Bob Parker in Currie Parker Auctions. The years of experience, training, and hard work combined to form Currie Auction Service.
Over the years Phil has donated his time to auction for such causes as the United Way, Mecosta County Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Ferris State University, Spectrum Health of Reed City and Big Rapids, St. Mary’s, Trinity Lutheran, Moose Lodge and more. Over his career he has helped these worthy charities bring in over $100,000 a year with a total well over $3 million during his entire 30+ year career.
With the help of his wife Carmen and the friendly staff, Currie Auction Service is the choice for exciting, professionally managed and successful auctions. Give Phil a call today.
